Every piece we create is a private commission, designed around your story and handcrafted by our artisans.
Never. Gems Origin works exclusively with natural, earth-mined diamonds and gemstones. Our founder Venessa is a GIA-certified gemologist who personally evaluates every stone we commission. We believe the rarity, history, and authenticity of a natural stone is irreplaceable — and non-negotiable.
It begins with a private consultation — a conversation about the story you wish to tell and the vision you have in mind. From there, we curate natural gemstones for your consideration, work together on the design, and our artisans handcraft your piece over 6 to 8 weeks.
The crafting process typically takes 6 to 8 weeks from design approval. We recommend beginning your commission at least 2 to 3 months before your intended occasion.
Gems Origin was founded by Venessa, a GIA-certified gemologist and second-generation jeweller with a lifelong background in fine stones. She oversees every commission personally — from gemstone selection to final quality approval.

Absolutely. Heirloom redesign is one of our most meaningful services. We work with clients to reimagine inherited pieces — honouring the original stones and sentiment while creating something that suits the life of the person who wears it today.
